During the Halloween season, we had the benefit to visit Guffey Acres located in Kokomo, Indiana. Guffey Acres is agritainment. Located along side of a family home, there is a large field full of activities as well as the corn maze. It was a great place to visit for an entire days activities. Possibly geared towards younger kids, the corn maze entertains older kids and the night visits to the Field of Screams corn maze is great for teens and young adults.

The day we visited there was a group that was stationed around the fire pit. What a great idea to bring a lunch or s'mores for cooking. Adults could sit around the fire and watch the going on in the open field allowing the kids in the group free range to play. What could they do? Slides, basketball, corn hole, corn cannon, checkers, sand box, farm animals and the corn box as well as throw a football. There was also the hay ride and the corn maze.

My kids enjoyed their time on the farm. I can't believe it but my daughters enjoyed the straw bale maze for little ones the most in that they crawled through it and thought it was so fun.

Although Guffey Acres closed Oct 27th for the season, please keep them in mind for your festive planning next year. They accept reservations from groups and well as school field trips.
