Creative And Crafty Ways To Display Your Photographs

Whether you are celebrating a life milestone such as a wedding or anniversary or simply grabbed your camera at the right time and captured a magical moment between loved ones - there are plenty of reasons why you might want to display your photographs in your home. However, why settle for simple photo frames?

If you’re taking great photographs, then you need to find a way to display them creatively in order to show off your artistic skills. So, here’s a guide to teach you exactly how to do that!

  • After you’ve finished snapping photographs, ensure that you store them safely on your phone or computer. After all, there’s nothing worse than taking the perfect pic and accidentally deleting it forever. If you’re looking for a secure storage option, be sure to check out amazon prime photo storage.

  • The next step in the process involves finding the perfect pictures to display. While it should be pretty easy to distinguish a good photo from a bad one (bad lighting, somebody had their eyes closed, blur…etc), different styles of photography work better for different craft projects. During this time, you might also want to try your hand at photo editing to give your pics a more professional finish.

  • The easiest way in which you can creatively display your photographs is by making a mini-album of your favorite pics and leaving it somewhere in the home where your guests can view them when visiting. For example, you could turn an item into a coffee table book, or place them on your shelves in the same place you would usually display more traditional photo frames.

  • Scrapbooking is another great way to put your photography skills to great use. Not only would a scrapbook be great within the home, they also make excellent gifts for friends, family, and loved ones - which is great news as Christmas will roll around much quicker than you think. The key to great scrapbooking is to simply have fun - choose a specific theme for your book and let your imagination run wild. Remember, you can include far more than photographs in your scrapbook too. For example, if you’re creating a vacation scrapbook - be sure to include any travel tickets too to preserve every magical memory.

  • While your scrapbooks probably look great on the page, you can take your collaging skills to the next level by moving them from the book to your wall. For example, photo collage walls look great in communal areas such as living and dining rooms but are also a way to make a statement in your bedroom.

When creating a photo wall, remember there are no ‘rules’. For example, while some people may prefer to neatly align their photographs, frames, and canvases using strict measurements - don’t be afraid to throw caution to the wind and put your creative eye to the test. For example, you could print out photos in a variety of sizes and use them to create some form of shape or pattern on your wall.
