As an artist, I have an appreciation for handmade objects. I was so excited to try this Hand-loomed Turkish Towel. It is light as a feather and is easily packable, this beach towel is an accessory you wouldn’t want to miss out on. Plus, it’s totally authentic and comes from the distant lands of Babadag, land of 100% genuine artisans and craftsmen.

The size of the active Hand-loomed Turkish Towel is 71" x 40" making it versatile for many different uses. The weave is beautiful. Having experience in loom work, I can attest to the labor of love it takes to weave something of this size. The tassels are all hand tied.

I love the green (almost tan) version I received for this review but the Hand-loomed Turkish Towel does come in a variety of beautiful colors.

The Hand-loomed Turkish Towel is lightweight but very absorbent and soft to the touch. I appreciate the unique artisan quality of this piece, I want to put it on display!
