Whether you have read the classic Little Women or not, you will enjoy the modern day adaptation portrayed in this retelling of the story. The four sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March -  grow up from childhood to womanhood. Each "little women" on her own path. As with any family they share experiences through ambitions, relationships, and tragedy. Their amazing sisterly bond is admired and understood even more by those with siblings. SImilar to the classic, Little Women is a feel-good movie. 

Little Women is a most favorite classic of my mother-in-law. I can't wait to see if she likes the movie just as much. I imagine she related to the storyline having two sisters and being raised on a farm by her mother. Stories I have heard of her childhood are parallel in many ways to Little Women.
