I was sent a Darn Good Yarn subscription box for review. I figured it would have yarn in it, and it did. This beautifully colorful yarn. And the smell of the yarn was something I didn't expect but had a hard time putting it down it smelled so good! And, I didn't expect to find knitting needles and a crochet hook as well.
These beautiful purple needles were included in the subscription box as well. They appear to be handmade from wood and dipped in purple dye. The quality of the product, as well as packaging, is definitely of a higher value than the cost of the box, at $10 a month. This has got to be one of the least expensive monthly subscription boxes.
Darn Good Yarn sells more than just a subscription box so you will want to visit their site and browse all their offerings. You'll find things like clothing, yarn, fabric, and more.

I got busy right away using my yarn and made a cute narrow scarf. I used the included crochet needle and worked 10 stitches across using a half double crochet stitch for the entire scarf. It was really easy to work with and I finished it in one sitting. I love the colors!
