Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok in theaters Friday

We were excite to get screener tickets to see an early showing of Thor Ragnarok. My family enjoys Marvel. From an early age, my husband would sneek to read his Marvel comic books. By the time we married, we had a room full of comic books. They have mostly all been sold to make room for our family but he has passed along the love of Marvel to our daughters. They both were excited to go to the theater tonight.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to attend with them. I just had my knee replaced a week ago so I had to sit this one out. When they got home, they told me it was the best Marvel movie so far. They also said there was a lot of humor throughout the movie and it was all funny. You know how some humor can miss the mark, well not so with this film. I am really dissapointed I had to miss it but when I am able to get around a bit better I imagine I will have no trouble getting someone to go see it again with me.

In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!  “Thor: Ragnarok” is directed by Taika Waititi and returns Chris Hemsworth starring as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.

To get in the spirit of things you just might want to make these Mjolnir Candy Apples.
