We were thrilled to be picked to have a Disney Side Celebration. Thinking about the best way to share, we decided to host a party for my daughters Upward Basketball Team. The party was held one night after practice at the church that hosts the Upward program. It was great sharing with the girls but also it created a fantastic team building opportunity.
We had snacks, since it was evening and just after practice - nothing too heavy. I made Mickey shaped brownies and cookies. There was a meat, cheese and cracker plate, m&ms, craisins, and lemonade.
We decorated the Hanes t-shirts that were provided with Crayola fabric markers and we also decided to stamp a basketball on the t-shirts using fabric paint and real basketballs. The girls signed each other's shirts and even got the coaches to sign them. The idea for stamping the basketball came from Spoonful.
We had a table filled with the give away items provided in the Disney Side Celebration party pack.
The trivia cards were spread through the tables and we did a fun photo shoot with Disney type props. Below are just a few of the photos that were taken.
I hope you can tell a good time was had by all. The girls were so appreciative.
