However, it is dedicated to craft items. They use a similar fee base system to eBay, but you know that every visitor is looking for craft items to buy. This means that you are in the right place to get the right people to see and buy your items. There are other websites that you can use such as Gumtree, Craiglist or even Facebook Groups, but none of these are going to see as many sales as the dedicated websites. Another great idea is to host your own shop on your own website. This way, you can avoid a lot of the fees and costs attached to places like eBay and Etsy. However, you will need to work on getting traffic and visitors to your website in the first place.
Going To Craft Fairs
Craft fairs will be another important part of your craft business. It will be where you can showcase your items and sell them directly to members of the public. You can also use this opportunity to give out business cards and network. This will help you to get people to see your website or online store and perhaps translate into sales. You can also use them as an opportunity to work with other craft businesses or even try to get your products sold in a store or retailer.
