Halloween Lamp Decor with Removable Vinyl

This Halloween Light Decor was inspired by StyleTech Removable Vinyl. We were challenged to create a Halloween themed craft or decor. Being able to use the removable vinyl, I was able to decorate for Halloween but not have it be permanent. I cut different bat shapes in different sizes and placed them on the inside of my lampshade. When the light is off you can see the bats slightly but when the light in on at night is when the real magic happens.

Directions:

Using Cricut Access, I searched on the word "bat" and chose a variety of images that I thought would work. I then placed them in Design Space and sized them for my project.  Using my Cricut Maker, I cut the removable vinyl.

I didn't use any transfer tape for bats. I just peeled them off the sheet of vinyl.

I placed the bats inside my lampshade.

Because of the pleating on the outside of the lampshade, the bats appear out of focus.
I still like the effect.

Then I placed more bats inside a different style lamp.
I really liked how this version turned out too!

The best part is that the bats are made from removable vinyl so, after Halloween, I can easily remove them from the lampshades and possibly even save them for next year!

This post is a part of the Fall Blog Hop with DCC and sponsored by StyleTech Craft who provided the designers with a variety of vinyl for their projects. You can see all the projects at the Designer Crafts Connection Blog.

I want to thank StyleTech Craft and Cricut for providing materials that were used in this post.
