I've done this for the past few years, designed a calendar for the upcoming year. This year's design includes patterns that I have created over the years for use as scrapbooking papers. I tried to choose an appropriate pattern for each month. The file is saved as a PDF so you can print out the entire year and give it as a gift, or you can print out one month at a time as you need it. Each month prints out on an 8.5 x 11" piece of paper. Or you could choose the 5 x 7" version, it prints two months per sheet and would need to be cut to size. Then it would fit nicely into an acrylic picture frame.
