I knew the moment I saw it, I would want to use Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect for the gems. It works so well. Actually, any small item you need to pick up can be done so with Embellie Gellie.

Open the case and remove a small amount of Embellie Gellie.
Roll it into a ball and place it on the end of the wood stick that comes with it.
