Crochet Napkin Ring DIY

 

I wanted to crochet something and I posed the question to myself, I wonder if you can crochet napkin rings? Well, of course you can and if you search on Pinterest you will find a ton of different options. But, I didn't want to influence any of my thoughts, so here is what I came up with. I wanted a napkin ring that went around the napkin of course with decrorative bead like elements. Now that I type that, crystal beads would have been nice, but I digress. 

Material:

  • Acrylic yarn 
  • 7.0mm crochet hook
  • scissors

Terms: 
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Directions:


single chain

Ch 12 and then sl st together

singe stitch
Ch one
Sc around the chain loop 12 times
sl st to the beginning
Do not stitch a ch

* sl st into the next two stitches
ch three
sl st back into the last stitch

1 finished
repeat from the * until you wo
rk around the loop

cut yarn and pull through the loop


two

Make two

stitch together
stitch centers together to finish
tuck in any loose ends

finished
