I was really interested in the Slice Precision Cutting Tool. (close up above) My background is in Graphic Design and I was trained long before there were computers, so all design was done by hand. I have lots of experience cutting a variety of different shapes and materials. I don't know how many craft knife blades I have bought and thrown out over those years. I used to buy blades in 100 piece packs. This little precise blade was what I had my eye on. I was interested in the control of the cut.
The bonus is that the blade being ceramic makes it last 10 times longer than traditional crafting blades. The safety of the ceramic blade wasn't even something I noticed. But I am so glad to have it.
The ceramic blade doesn't rust, it stays sharp, and there is no oil on the blade. It is finger friendly technology so it reduces the possibility of injury. I don't have to worry about my daughters using it or someone borrowing it and dulling the blade.
