Breast Cancer has always been something to survive in my mind. My mother had it twice in her life, surviving both times. My best friend survived it as well. However, that isn't possible unless it's detected. I have been getting mammograms since my early 20s. Back then, I had to fight to get in to be examined because the typical age to start getting checked was in your 30s. Many offices wouldn't see me. Thankfully my doctors were on my side and we found ways for me to be examined. Thankfully, I have been Cancer free.
Unfortunately, Breast Cancer is the 2nd deadliest cause of death for women around the world. By 2050, no woman should die of breast cancer. To help support finding a cure, Glamulet is declaring their Pink October campaign.
This Glamulet campaign aims to raise awareness to prevent breast cancer. Every charm Glamulet sells, they will donating 50% of the sales to a charity fund for breast cancer. Join the cause, purchase a charm for yourself, someone you know, to honor a survivor, or to benefit a future free of Breast Cancer.
