Behind the Scenes :: Papa Murphy's Pizza

Thanks to Papa Murphy's for a behind the scenes tour of one of their newer stores in the Indianapolis area.

We learned a bit about their products, toured the store and even got to make a pizza to take home. It was a great event.

This is the line of ingredients cut fresh every day to be used on your pizza.

Behind the scenes making their newest version of cheese bread. Those bars in the background that look like butter are actually cheese.

The dough is made fresh every day and left in bins to rise, then stretched and rolled out for the crust. Papa Murphy's has a variety of different crust thicknesses: Original, Thin Crust (Large and Family Only), Stuffed (Large and Family Only), Fresh Pan (Large Only), and Gluten Free (Medium Only).

One of the neatest things I learned about is the Mini Murphy where kids can create their own pizza at home with a kit of scratch-made dough, pizza sauce, 100% whole-milk mozzarella, and pepperoni.

The best way to keep in touch and to save is through special offers. The most exclusive offers can be sent right to your inbox or phone. Join Papa Murphy’s Text Club and receive an instant offer good at your nearest Papa Murphy’s location. At least a dollar more in savings then the in store promotions! [join]

Here's a few tips I learned while on tour. You can order ahead of time so your pizza is ready to pick up. While they have their signature line, gourmet delite, and stuffed pizza; you can order a pre-made money saving pizza for $5, choose from cheese, sausage or pepperoni.
