I was offered a copy of a Scratch & Create book to review. I think these books can be used in two different ways. First as the scratch art and secondly using the drawing examples as coloring sheets. On the left side is the sample image and the right page is a metallic scratch page. The book contains a tool for scratching and can be stored with the book.
I found this to be a peaceful and relaxing activity. I only wish the book came with a few practice or additional sheets of the scratch material. I was sent the Enchanted Animals version.
Enchanting floral designs emerge as you scratch away the metallic coating of twenty tear-out postcards, revealing the colorful artwork of Chilean illustrator Maya Hanisch.
Scuff, scrape and scratch dark metallic coating away to create inspirational and decorative illustrations of rabbits and dandelions, raccoons, owls, foxes, and a whole forest of enchanting wildlife.
