Grand Opening Promenade Park Ft. Wayne Indiana

rendering of the park

Thanks to Visit Ft Wayne, we were invited to tour the new Promenade Park before it opened. We were sworn to media secrecy until the grand opening. We are now allowed to share with you. I can't begin to tell you how awesome the park was on our tour and it wasn't even finished. We had a whirlwind visit and were invited to so many different destinations we couldn't fit them in the time we had available, but the park was one of the highlights. My cousin used to live in Ft. Wayne and he was very impressed with the progress and growth of the city that I shared with him.

You'll definitely want to be a part of the opening celebration on August 9-11. To hear all about the events to be held each day, visit http://riverfrontfw.org/ From what we were told, there is going to be so much to see and do. It will be a true celebration. Once the park is open, they will have tons of events on a continual basis with most of them being free of charge. So it will be a great destination for families.
