Movie Review: Rise of the Guardians

Rise of the Guardians
We saw a preview of Rise of the Guardians this weekend. It was a fantastic movie. Very family friendly. We took our six and nine year old daughters. We all enjoyed the movie. I was interested in the quality of the animation having studied animation in school. I kept being drawn away from looking at the techniques by the story line.

It is basically a story about good versus evil. Of course good wins. There is also a secondary theme about finding yourself or more to the point, your purpose. The characters are very likable: Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, The Sandman, Jack Frost and the Tooth Fairy.

The Rise of the Guardians is worthwhile seeing and when it comes out on DVD, we will be buying a copy.
