Glass Plate Art

My daughters love to decorate plates and then use them for their dinners or desserts. The most recent plates they made used Deco Art glass paint markers. These dessert sized plates were purchased at the dollar spot at Target but I usually find them at the dollar store in a variety of sizes. We worked on the back side of the plate so that the plate could be used for food. Kids love to initial or place their names on things they make. Remember when working on the back of the plate, you need to write backwards. You could easily design on the front with a dry erase or chalk marker as the template or plan for the design and then work with the Deco Art glass paint markers on the back.

The plates above were created following the drying and baking instructions below. They have been through the dishwasher a few times before I got around to taking photos so the Deco Art paint doesn't wash off like some other brands have been known to do.
