Decorating Easter Eggs

This year we added to our Easter egg decorating by using vinyl that we cut using a Cricut Explore. You don't need a Cricut to cut the vinyl, you can use a paper punch or just cut shapes with scissors. Then just use the vinyl  in a similar way to a sticker. This is very child friendly, my daughters loved it. We added dye as well and got a bit creative with using the vinyl as a resist and a stencil. If I had made more boiled eggs they would have kept on going with exploring different options.

Here are a few examples of the eggs we made:

A special thanks to Expression Vinyl for providing their Easter pack of vinyl for this post.

If you have a Cricut and would like the svg files we used,
head on over to our sister site The Craft Chop, the files are posted there for free.
