Influencer Marketing for Dummies :: Review and Giveaway

I received Influencer Marketing for Dummies to review and offer a copy as a giveaway. Before receiving this book, I wasn't really sure about the focus of this book. Upon reading a few chapters, I feel it is best suited to companies that are looking to engage in social media partnering. It really does spell out each aspect of working with different social medias and how to consider which works best for your brand.

I am one looking to be one of those brand partners. Can I still benefit from the book? Yes. Reading through, Influencer Marketing for Dummiesit showed me the other side of my focus. How companies engage with bloggers and what they can expect in return.

Technology has changed the face marketing and it is no longer a black and white industry but one that constantly changes. The one thing that stays constant with differing forms of technology is the individual connects. Whether it be a blogger who has a tribe of followers or a videographer who has a Youtube channel. Each form of engagement requires readers and viewers to engage with the content.

Who are Influencers? As mentioned above, it can have a vast range but it's people who use these platforms to generate interest. This interest is typically generated by their first-hand experience that is then shared socially with their followers that generate engagement with a brand. Promotions that are done well tend to generate loyal followers. It is always wise to remember that a bad review or negative experience can reach farther and faster than you can imagine with the use of social media.
