Hungry Uncle BBQ Sauce

Influenced by travels to the Carribean, Hungry Uncle created his Bajan Barbeque Sauce. We tried it on chicken. My first impression was that this sauce was different. When poured over the raw chicken it was lumpy, similar to salsa not bbq sauce. While cooking, the aroma was enticing. The taste wasn't too heavy or strong. We also tried it straight from the bottle as a dip for the chicken which brought a stronger flavor but still enjoyable. Calling it barbeque sauce conjures up a certain expectation of flavor, this was different. It is sweet, tangy and spicy. Definitely worth a try.

I am on the fence with my opinion of this sauce. I was surprised by the chunks in the sauce. Even more upsetting was that the sauce arrived in packaging that had a heavy cigarette smell, not appetizing at all and definitely off putting for a food product. I hope Hungry Uncle resolves this issue which may have occurred without his knowledge.
