One of the best ways to get started with Cricut is to purchase a bundle. When I received my Air 2 I was also supplied with a lot of materials. (see YouTube unboxing) This allowed me to get started trying out a variety of different materials. Of course, I would recommend the starter project that takes you step by step through using your machine first.

After using the Air 2 and when the Maker was released, I was also sent the new Maker machine. This is the current machine I own and use. I have gifted all my other Cricut machines to family and friends.
