A few things I like about the X-chef Dessert Salad Mixing Bowl Set is that they nest inside each other for minimal storage space needs and that they are a matching set. The bowls come with lids that fit. The bowls are very sturdy. The lids are not flimsy and snap into place but have a bit of wiggle room so I would say they are not air tight. On the downside, they are not dishwasher or microwave safe.
