Visit Dollar Tree to Fill Your Easter Baskets

**I was compensated for this post. This post also contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

Even though we are on vacation in Florida for spring break, I had to visit Dollar Tree. There are so many new items in stock and I wanted to get a few things to fill my daughters Easter baskets; you know, in case they ran out. Dollar Tree carries many name brand products and you can't beat the price! I grabbed some candy and a cute bouncy ball for each girl. Even though Dollar Tree is a chain, they do carry different items throughout the country. I am sure this isn’t my only visit to Dollar Tree before my Easter basket filling will be complete. I loved getting an Easter basket when I was younger and even though my daughters are teens now, I still love making them a basket each year. Just like my mother did, their baskets are wrapped in cellophane and topped with a large bow. I don’t know if my daughters care about the presentation as much as I do. But it reminds me of the magical baskets my mother used to make for me so I keep the tradition. Two items I bought were:

I couldn't pass up these Haribo Happy Hoppers. Haribo is known for gummy bears but these are the same thing shaped as bunny heads.

The first item I grabbed and the one that reminded me to shop for Easter was this chocolate bunny from Russell Stovers. We always put a chocolate bunny in each year's Easter basket, but honestly, the really large ones don't get totally eaten. This version was the perfect size for one person, and it is solid chocolate. Another tradition I keep that my mother had!

Everything Is Just $1 At DollarTree.com!

Do you have Easter basket traditions? I would love to hear about them in the comments. (and thanks for sharing!)
