House Painting with HomeRight

We are in the process of painting our house. We have painted it before as well as paid for it to be painted. We decided to paint it ourselves to save some money. Thanks to HomeRight, the process is going well. We are using a HomeRight Power-Flo Pro 2800 Airless Paint Sprayer making the application professional looking as well as making it quicker to cover large areas.

We are not the handiest when it comes to home improvements. If something can go wrong, we usually will experience it. With that said, I am going to share a few of our mishaps - because they happened. To begin, we missed a very small but necessary part for the sprayer, it actually fell out of the box on opening. Trying the sprayer for the first time (on a test board), paint pretty much sprayed everywhere - especially on me. We figured out what was wrong, corrected our error and began painting. Figuring out the settings had a bit of a learning curve for us. Don't take me wrong, they are labeled well and described well in the documentation - it just took us a bit to grasp it especially since they were now covered in paint! With this said, using the sprayer was thrilling. Watching the paint cover the side of the house quickly was amazing. We couldn't stop talking about how well the sprayer worked. The fact that we could spray primer - most other brands can't handle the thickness of the paint - as well as the house paint.

We are working one side of the house at a time. Seeing our results really helps motivate us to move on to the next side of the house. We are eager to see the improvements.
