Groupon Black Friday Deals

This is a post written by me on behalf of Slickdeals. All opinions and experiences are my own. I have been compensated for this post.

I would be the first to admit I love a bargain. The deals on Black Friday are so exciting and helpful for fulfilling my Christmas list shopping. But I have a secret, I hate the crowds. I actually make a list and send my husband out shopping while I prefer to shop online. Groupon Black Friday deals make shopping easy.

I actually shop on Groupon year-round. Upon returning from a Bahama cruise, we needed a hotel for a few days in Florida before we caught our flight home. I knew we would need to rest and recuperate from the activities on the cruise. I found a great hotel deal on Groupon. The hotel was on the beach. The room was beautiful, comfortable and we really relaxed in luxury.

So I recommend before heading out on your vacation, check and see what opportunities for entertainment and restaurants can be found on Groupon and set off a bit more prepared and at a discount! It is easy to search by location on Groupon. The option to do so is right at the top in the green bar.

I have purchased discounted tickets to activities in our hometown making it cost-effective to entertain my daughters. Things like museums, bounce houses, mini golf, just to name a few. During this year's Christmas break, head to Groupon to see what is available in your area and get the kids out of the house for a fun afternoon.

Yes, I’ve bought Christmas presents on Groupon, things like jewelry, coloring sets, and sheets all as gifts for Christmas. But one of my favorite finds is gift cards at a discount. I have purchased gift cards to movie theaters, restaurants, ice cream, Target, and even Starbucks! In fact, before we head to the theater, I often check Groupon to see if there is a deal that would save us money.

Now that we have more family that live out of town, buying a gift to send on Groupon or gift cards on Groupon makes so much sense. Just order and send directly to the recipient.

Groupon makes it easy to search by categories. They are at the top of the page, right under the green bar and are grouped into Featured, Things To Do, Beauty & Spas, Goods, Hotels & Travel, and Coupons.  Or you can enter in the search engine what you are looking for and see if there is a deal. The coupons are for many stores you already shop at and are listed with a link directly so you can shop and save online and the discount is automatically applied.

I don’t have a huge list to fill this year but I still love a bargain. I might purchase some Black Friday deals and put them away in my gift closet for future birthdays. It never hurts to have a few gift items on hand, you never know when they will be needed.

As for me, a massage for Christmas sounds like a perfect gift. I may need to order one for myself from Groupon!
